A Happy Ending: Feature Film
A Happy Ending is a nostalgic love story that takes us on a journey through Janetta Washington's life as she reveals a lifelong secret on her death bed to her nephew Tyreese, a young trans man, who is seeking support for his transition. Her journey takes us from the backwoods of Alabama to a turbulent Newark, NJ, where a tragic act of violence leads her to Tyreese's uncle in 1967 and the two of them begin a romance that will last a lifetime.

Danielle “Dani” Vauters is a seasoned music professional, publicist, and podcaster fueled by a deep passion for marketing, entertainment, and film. Over her impressive decade-long career, Dani has left her mark on renowned publications such as The Source Magazine and AllHipHop.com. She honed her skills through internships at Def Jam Records and VH1.com, as well as collaborations with high-profile clients.
Beyond the mainstream, Dani's influence reverberates through the music industry's grassroots. She orchestrated music showcases and beat battles, elevating talents from Newark, NJ, to the spotlight. Dani's journey includes pivotal roles at BMI and HFA in NYC, where she collaborated with industry giants like Skyzoo, Craig Kallman, and George Clinton.
From 2017 to 2020, Dani co-hosted "The Internal Quest Show with Dani" on Spotify, featuring engaging interviews, trending topics, and her insightful "Music Geek News" segment. As a music business consultant, she founded DV Creative Brands/Link Up with Dani, offering public relations services, creative expertise in film and performative productions, and diving into YouTube Channel and affiliate marketing.
